NSSCC Races at Cadwell, pics and videos
We had a fairly good day at Cadwell park on Sunday. Pete had a poor quallifying session, complaining of not one clear lap. He quallified third in his
class behind the Fiesta of Mick Starkey, and Paul Moss's Saxo.
Race one, saw him pass both the Fiesta and the Saxo to take a class win.
Race two, not so good. He was in front of his two main rivals on the grid, and despite some start line "incidents" he got a decent start.
However he was to suffer gear selection problems which allowed the Saxo past. He hung on to second in class, but with each bad gear change, he was
losing out to the Citroen.
Results are

Race one part 2

Supercharged Metro by the looks of it.
The 2nd link part 2, goes back to part 1 of the video Andy.
Great result though, shame about the gearchange, but it looks like he has got the better of that Saxo now, 1 minute 43 second laps as well

I think I've fixed the link now Paul.
Yes, Pete was well chuffed with that lap time. The problem with the gears, it appears, was due to the exhaust being knocked upwards, interfering with
the gear linkage. One too many kerbs straddled methinks!
...and yes, it's a supercharged Metro.
