Love the quote at the end from "bloke in Cheshire": -

"The road's been closed - I had to walk the kids to school"

Poor love!

Way I heard it these cars have a tendancy to roll over without warning and so it's the cars fault and definitely not the driver

You missed a bit - he said he couldn't get out of his house and then walked the kids to school

I bet £5,000,000 that the Evo will be found to have a dodgy steering arm or summat (after all that rolling) which caused the crash

I bet the drunk guy was driving slower!!

I also bet he dont get his car back. Something stupid like the guy will get a new Evo to replace his nearly new one and then it gets crushed as a punishment.

God I hate the police.

it is highly amusing that the dangerous drunk driver was doing just fine, then the sober cops write it off.

Ok think of it this way:

In your hands are the keys to an Evo
The owner is heading for the nick as you're sat there.
Said Evo is in front of you
The recovery truck is going to be an hour, so you've got a good 45 mins of hooning around time before anyone notices.

If you're still sat there with the keys in your hands then you're a bigger/more sensible/more boring man than I am.

And then you give in to the temptation and end up 150 yards up the road having gone through 2 gardens and turned the car over. Instead of having a promising career in front of you. you are now facing a disciplinary hearing and possible dismissal. On top of which you get done for driving without due care and attention

And the owner of the gardens plus drunk man in car take you through the courts for civil damages.

Such a good idea now ?
