Brown trousers

Bloody hell it's like dancing on ice, just had a massive moment on the way to the garage. Trackday tyres and the cold do not mix. Be careful out there guys!

Hopefully no new youtube videos of me doing a 360 in bury town centre will be popping up! Wasn't even going fast, it's near a bus depot so I'm guessing diesel on the road.

First kit car spin on the road and hopefully the last.

Up here, the roads and pavements are just ice, not ice crystals scattered around.
Solid ice everywhere.

Walking is dangerous enough far less driving.

Maybe the same wherever you are.

It's deceivingly dry here, but very slippy still.

Over here in the mornings the less-driven roads have a nice 1/2" coating of "frost". It's not solid ice, but looks crystally, but is of such a thickness that I got wheelspin in 4th doing 20mph! Really really slippery.

Stopping in particular is a bit of a lottery draw!

Lot's of black ice on the road here. Nearly ended up on my arse just walking to the butty shop. The road just looked (and most of it was) wet, but some of it was ice.

After your last post here I did wonder how long it would be untill you posted a picture of a ditch There's no way I could drive mine hard enough to notice performance improvements at this time of year. If I do use it I drive like there's an egg between my foot and the throttle and short shift the gears at 1/2 the rev range.

Ha no where near any ditches, just kerbs. It was fine yesterday, but then again it was about 2pm when I took it out. I think I can wait a bit longer for the nice weather now

It's not been anywhere near the limiter I can assure you, just bad luck and a bad bit of road. It's woke me up anyway, so I'm going to take it as a positive!

Don't worry, the limiter will get plenty of use in June
