I reckon we should have sections for other manufacturers, including Caterham, Westfield and GBS. Owners all have something to offer the forum

Guys
Fozzie and I have had a chat about this tonight. Whilst we've no specific reason to exclude GBS, we're actually not sure on two
things....
1. Whether the 'car specific' areas serve any purpose anyway, as people tend to use them as 'I'm building XYZ car so
I'll post everything in here' rather than actually thinking first 'Is my question specific to this car or just to kits in
general?'. All they seem to do is hide useful information away as people don't think to look in them if they're not building that
specific car.
2. Only 1 person has said they actually want a GBS-specific forum. Is anyone else interested?
Note that this isn't a 'no', it's just a request for more information.

Ive been a member on here now for quite a while, and Im building a GBS Zero. Although I would like a specific section for them, so far all the
questions I have asked have been answered useing the other forum section. I suppose that a specific section would be good for, "how does this
fit" or "how did you do that" with reference purely to the Zero. Which I think would help. Might also bring a few more peeps from
Rhoc to our mighty world too.
I think now that GBS is a mainstream manufacturer and produces a very good kit, maybe it is time for "us" to have our little corner on
here.
Just my thoughts.
Edited to say, I think your point about information being hidden in specific sections is true, I do not often look in other manufacturers section for
answers. So maybe we all need to think where we put our posts.

Why not just remove them all then?
Maybe add in a 'projects/ WIP' section to combine them all in?

We don't even have a section for the car in the site name, i.e. the book-built Locost!
Quite a number of people on here have built a car either from Uncle Ron's book, or from the McSorley plans. In effect, our cars that started as
a heap of metal tubing on the garage floor.
Not that I'm asking for a Locost-specific section - just keen that this site doesn't turn into a collection of manufactured-kit-specific
forums.
...just my 2p's worth!

Id would say it already is. id hazard a guess that more than 60% of users users arent building/driving a locost. And only a handful of them have
owned/built one historically.
