kitpartsdirect
Anybody had any dealings with kitpartsdirect recently ?
I have e-mailed them a couple of times with no reply and I have just noticed
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS" still on the home page and also
the monthly offers "December 2010 SPECIAL OFFERS" !!!!!!!!

I bought some trs belts from them. I had great service with very good communication and very quick delivery. Seems some people do alright and others
get screwed.

I bought my Zetec from them (through ebay) http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/kitpartsdirectltd , took a few days longer than they originally said, but they
kept me informed and it arrived as promised. That was over a year ago theough, and they dont seem to have anything up for sale at mo.

I bought some of there rear wing protectors, they were terrible cloudy gel coat over some carbon type sheet and looked like they'd been cut out
by someone after a heavy night.
Returned them for a refund and after a month and loads of e-mails finally got my money back, no apologies no refund of postage nothing.
In this day and age you just can't get away with this level of customer service.
I wouldn't touch them with someone elses barge pole !!!

I'm always astonished at suppliers like this (we can all probably think of other similar firms) - a bit of customer service makes all the
difference.
Consider the following companies:
Car Builder Solutions
Vehicle Wiring Products
Stafford Vehicle Components
(and a few others, of course)
Each of them is a major supplier to kit builders, and each has a good reputation that they work hard to maintain. Dealing with them is a pleasure.
Of course, there is a down-side to the kit builder - each of these companies is a bit more expensive than the lower-ranking ones. I guess good
customer service has to be paid for?
