2stroke oil in a derv car ?
anyone know anything abouth this myth ?
have been told by a few people on a different forum that 2stroke oil in with the diesel helps with niose and engine running ?
anyone ?

I use it in my petrol to lubricate the pump and injectors - 10cc per 5 gallons. Running 11.5 to 1 CR and huge advance with no pinking or detonation
problems.
I'll give it a go in the tow car and see how it works with derv.

I could see it ruining the cat but otherwise... Maybe it would help with the application of biodiesel in engines that don't do well with it?

DERV has a lubricant added to lubricate the injector pump. I have heard of people adding 2 stroke oil to cheaper kerosene or central heating oil to
use in diesel engines which would otherwise damage the pump.
