I don't see the issues
in fact, one or two I have used in emergency (string wiper is one......tin can exhaust the other)
I like the dual purpose door/bottle opener two birds etc

I have to own up to doing the tin can exhaust repair, using a bean tin when I was on holiday down devon and worked a treat and even lasted a few
months until the GF wrote the car off!! But as for the rest I have not tried. (Yet!) Some scary ideas on there!!

It's not publicised, but you can work on your own gas fittings if you're feeling brave.
You only need to be corgi registered if you're doing it for reward

I have just been quoted over £900 by Transco to move my gas meter vertically 4ft.
If a fitter working for me couldn't do that in under an hour, he'd be signing on tomorrow.

The body that I just spoke to at the HSE stated that if it's your own property, you can do pretty much what you like with gas equipment, unlike
the leccy regs. But be warned, if it all goes tits-up you are liable for any claims against you.

Yes and your insurance company won't want to know. Also be careful if selling as they want all certificates so you'll remain liable even
after you're gone.

I have actualy Serviced a car that had a steering wheel covered in stickers to hide where the airbag had blown.
