Media circus or not its the pr and advertising/corporate appearances that bring in the sponsors cash.

True but that is the main problem with F1 it's too corporate, don't get me wrong I love F1 and I've even managed to get the Mrs hooked, but I love old f1 even more. Today there are no real characters, no drivers nowadays are allowed to rant because they've crashed, Hamilton even gets slated for whinging on Twitter ffs. Raikkonen bucks the trend by putting a finger up to the media and I like that.

interesting debate on skys coverage today regarding the drivers who they thought could get the maximum from their cars! they all said senna then hamilton from all f1 drivers ever.lewis is seriously quick.
id love to see a stat of how many times hes out qualified his team mates in the last few years compared to how many hes been out qualified? in sure hed done jensen abolut 50 races in a row
