Cladding the garage? What with?

Evening all,

I want to do something to make my garage look a little less like a shipping container with a pitched roof. Basically its metal sided and looks a little industrial. Now I have recently replaced all my fencing the garage looks a little scruffy.

What would be the best thing to "clad" it with to make it more visually appealing. I though about a load of feather edge boards would make it look better but wondered if there is anything else that would look good that I have missed. Also needs to be fairly locost as usual!!

Cheers
Andy

+1 on that (though a trellis with clematis would better :p ). Paint the garage dark green first to hide it away a bit more.

Also have a look at DIY living walls/vertical gardens. That will add a layer of insulation as well, though clearly a bit more work to install and tend.
