I don't know weather to laugh or cry.
From the photos it has a plate on it. Meaning it may of been on the road at some point, imagine trying to park that in Tesco's.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

It says it has a V5!!
I want to see the back axle. I presume it has 2 diffs, linked together somehow? Or 1 engine driving each back wheel?

It most definitely was on the road in the early 80s, I remember seeing it at several Custom shows on the WolfRace stand, with road tax.
IIRC the engines are linked, driving a single jag IRS.

Mad, but why not!. Watched the youtube vid link on the ebay add, looks like it has 2 jag diffs under the back, assume the inboard drive shafts are
just joined together....interesting.

Two diffs at the back, sounds horrible but actually a good idea as the engine revs/gears may be mismatched which is then resolved by the diffs, the
planet gears could be racing, really need a pair of LSD's not open.

I'm just trying to figure out how that would work, would the joined shafts just spin merrily away while the wheels stayed put?
Edit: Mmm, Marks answer may be the key, it would have to be an LSD. Although it would permanently be in 'limited slip' mode?

I remember this car from when it was new.
Possibly just marketing hype (the was the early 1980's remember, when we thought a Sinclair ZX81 was high-tech) , but I distinctly remember that
they claimed the engines were synchronised by a custom-made management computer. They made a big deal about all the digital electronics on the dash,
too.
Gotta be a simpler way of doing it, like using the distributor from one engine to fire the spark plugs on the other, so that they've got
to run at the same revs cos of the ignition timing?

wouldn't that mean one engine's power only goes to 1 wheel and the other engine's power is shared between both? (albeit averaged out
a bit by the lsd)
Would it be better to have 2 diffs, both welded and not connected, allowing 1 engine to power 1 wheel alone?

only if you could accurately match engine output. In the early 80s we had the same problem on the Lynx helicopter (the system was eventually disabled
and the co-pilot matches the torques manually) - Wolfrace had no hope on their budget

There's a lot of misinfo about dual engines - you don't really need to account for mismatched output speeds (unless they're wildly
different engines rigid-linked to the same shaft of course!) and you don't have to worry to such a great extent - the same way as adding 4 more
pistons to a crankshaft - you just lock the outputs together and force one engine/box to work at the same rate as the other - total torque is the sum
of the two whether they're slightly imbalanced or not. You'll get a few odd dynamics going on, sure, but it's little different to
having one piston in a 4 banger running a little low on compression - they'll all run at the same speed but it'll contribute slightly less
to the output.
