Bad Day...
My turn for a car build rant... Sorry...
So today a mate came round to help me bleed the brakes on the Ginetta for the first time (new lines, refurbed calipers and masters) only to find one
of the rear calipers leak fluid past the piston so needs to be removed and returned to the refurb company. Which also means need to remove the
handbrake cable i've spent 2 weeks removing and refitting to get the length correct.
And to top it off... after welding a new harness mount to the chassis I tripped, knackered both wrists and a knee... I give up, I'm taking up
knitting.

Bit of retail therapy, get yourself one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001KTFIWA/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002WD5XOQ&p
f_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=1T1YRQKCA0NN8JWXTK18
Makes bleeding brakes by yourself a doddle.

Won't fix a leaking piston seal though...
I had plenty of days like that while I built my car - in the end my technique was to just walk away for a while. Some days you're doomed and
the best thing to do is admit it and leave the task to another day.

I taxed mine on April 1st, got 5 miles towards the first show of the season, boiled over, broken alternator bracket, decide to put refurbed spare
engine in, it's now early June and I've been doing full 3 day weekends since.
Never give up
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Got the heat shielding in tonight too to make me feel like more progress was made, but then got the glue in my hair... where are those knitting
needles

Bad day? Pft.
Toy tintop dropped to 3 cyls one lunch time. Annoyed at probable ringland failure I drove home angry. Hoofed it out of roundabout and span it, sliding
left rear alloy into central res bending sus arm, smashing alloy, bending arch. Drove home, next morning popped bore cam down plug hole, engine
rotated under compression from other cyls, smashed camera into head, bent it so it wouldn't come out.
And so began my replacement alloys, suspension rebuild and engine rebuild. From one 24 hour period.
Chin up
