Am I missing a trick?

I know tax discs are considered 'collectable' by some people, but this seems a bit enthusiastic;

eBay Item

Perhaps I should have kept my old ones!!

Yep, as expected ones from the 60's and such can get a few bob, but none of the more recent ones get more than a pound.

I think we're all missing a trick somewhere.

But I suspect selling old tax discs for a couple of grand isn't said trick.

That said, if he can find a buyer then good luck to him.

I stick the tax discs in the back of the corresponding haynes manuals. Should have full set for a volvo dating back to 1899, will have a look at the mgb and astra books as these may go back to the 80s.

1899 ?
but I suspect the ones for 29Feb when it wasn't a leap year might be worth something.
