Any BMW techs here? Radio code required.
Another crap topic from me. All of the time studying and family keep me out the garage I can't contribute anything of major interest!
Anyway, a friend has asked for me too help her out. Her BMW mini R53 need a new radio and they are available on the net but I know it will need a
code. Does anyone have the access to get the code of I provide them with the SN?
I know from past experience is a case of typing in the number and up pops the code. You just need to have access in the first place. Any helpers?

Surely BMW/Mini supplied the code with the car when it was bought?
Often by means of a sticker in the handbook.

She recently bought a mini that had an aftermarket radio. Due to it being an uprated system the rear speakers and stalk controls dont work.
She wants a standard one put back in. There are plenty on ebay from scrapped cars but none come with the code.
