Compressor Deals

Hi all

I need a new compressor as my old Chinese one has been playing up for a while (kept tripping out on start up) and I've just gone and snapped off the drain valve trying to replace it. So I think it's time to go shopping.

I don't spray and just use the compressor for tools and stuff.

My current compressor gives 10cfm so anything there or above would be OK.

Any views on these with Machine Mart - there's currently a discount on them.

Thanks in advance

Wyn

If you fancy a trip to liverpool, tlh auctions sell off machine mart returns. I got an air rivet gun rrp of £75 for £6. all that was wrong was the unopened box was damaged.

Theyre not listing much this week for compressors but they do have this

I had a sip 3hp/50litre for years, no issues at all. About 5 years ago I bought a little used sip 3hp/50L but this time belt drive. So much quieter, and again reliable as a reliable thing, except the start capacitor gave up the ghost a year ago after extensive use (respray, so DA sander for a few days, and lots of spraying)

The direct drive was good, but rather noisier.

I have the 100 ltr version of the one in your machine mart link. It has been perfectly reliable and driven whatevers been plugged into it, rattle guns, spray guns, drills, sanders etc. Only downside is it's quite noisy.
