What posters for my new garage!!!
I built a new garage!! It is awesome. Properly insulated, properly lit, proper workbench, door into the house, Its about 7m x 4m. All the walls are
sprayed pristine matt white and I want to put up some iconic posters/pictures. I am a large format printer by profession but I can't decided
what to put up there. I have space for about 4 A0 prints!
Any suggestions?

These vinyl wall art outlines look nice - Quite a few available in different sizes.

I don't know, I used to have some massive music prints, New Order, Pink Floyd etc on the wall, I guess if you can print some then you could have
a few themes?
Out of interest how much is a full colour A0 print?

I quite like the vinyl cutouts.
We don't sell to the general public so I don't know what the cost would be. We general sell to our clients at £65 per square meter.

id get a mixture. I think i would want some film posters of films that inspired me as a kid to like doing silly things in cars: Gumball Rally,
Canonball Run, Smokey and the Bandit.
Then some old racing ones, for me it would be le mans and a bit of UK oval racing.
A few old dealer advert for cars i have owned would be good.
And few random ones like Pikes Peak, Route 66 that kind of stuff would float my boat

How has no-one suggested the Pirelli calendar? Surely the definitive bit of garage artwork?!
Personally I really like some of the Grand Prix posters (or LeMans) - especially the stylised ones from the 30s - 50's.
I saw someone who produced similar artwork at FoS a few years ago but can't find the details on Google now...

When I built my workshop I painted the walls white.
Then I started hanging tools on the walls.
Can't see the paint now.

They look pretty awesome, I only need to find away to contact the artist directly rather than go through Displate.

I do appreciate the female form but I have small children and my missus runs a child minding agency from my home. Doubtful I would be allowed to have
any 'really good' posters up.

I really like this guys work -

He had a stall at the Goodwood FOS about 15 years ago and I wish I had bough one of his painting as they are now out of reach. The Auto Union D Type
ones are my favourite.

Fair enough. Other than the GP posters (I am not a massive GP fan really) I think if I had money to burn I'd be getting posters made of some
'action' motorsport photos i've seen that have stuck in my mind. Like:
GT40 getting a good start at LeMans I saw this in a magazine ( I thought from a
slightly higher angle) where it said it was Graham Hill and that he was famed for fast starts
/0/]Catching some air at
Brooklands
Lancia 037 in Portugal I think there is a better version of this shot where
the car is fully cresting the hill...
There's a also a good photo of a driver cresting to Brooklands Test Hill in something like a Blower Bentley, fully off the ground with a pipe
clamped in his jaw, that I can't readily find
