Built on a Rickman donor no less.
At least he is nearly honest about it.

The number plate shown on the pictures in the add Q482 TWN comes up as an MK INDI when doing an MOT online check so god knows whats going on.
You'd think that description would match the log book or am I wrong and they can be different ?

If you check the tax status on the GOV website it's a Red Rickman.
So it's registered as a Rickman, Taxed as a Rickman and MOT'd as an MK Indi. How does that happen in these modern computerised times?

Wouldn't be the first time a vehicle is registered wrongly on DVSA database , I've even had a transit that belonged to a regular customer
that we had tested for years show up as not recognised after a system revamp.

From the pictures it looks like the seller is in the "trade" so that may suggest why the car is named incorrectly on the MOT. In the add
it also states that it's and Indy R chassis which it clearly isn't so further deceit !

Agreed, from the photos it's certainly not an MK Indy R chassis!
If it's a trade seller then they really should pay more attention and be more honest about what they're selling.

It comes up as 2000cc too, so the engine change was never notified.
Is it an early Indy chassis?
What a mess for the prospective buyer.
There's no mention of Rickman on the auction.

There was earlier, the listing has been modified to further deceive the unlucky buyer.
Wouldn’t you have come back buying a ringer from a dealer ?

I messaged him -
Car appears to be a 'ringer', registered as an older kit car on a new chassis, unless you can prove different of course? Probably wise to
remove it before it's reported to ebay or even worse (for you) the police.
Got the reply-
will sort it.Thanks
Seems his idea of reporting it is to remove the Rickman bit from the ad!! W@nker
Best report it before someone gets stung for it.

but then again neither ebay, DVLA or the police make it easy at all to report such things and I'm sure that car will be sold on to some
unsuspecting buyer
