It's down to personal opinion, it isn't wrong or right, but, does it LOOK better? Hell! yes! In my opinion and the item in question
doesn't really have a function in the first place.

Going to be controversial and agree with Martin..looks good and is well excuted...but why?
1. because the paint was flaking off
2. because I'm off on't sick and Im BORED!!!
3. because it's cool!!
Plus, it's only the inner grille, the weight saved would be the equivalent of me taking a light dump and sneezing before I got in the car!
If it was my bonnet, then fair enough, but it aint, it's perhaps a hundred grammes of plastic, on a diesel tin top.
Anyway, it goes with the viper stripes and the "on a mission" sticker
