It's down to personal opinion, it isn't wrong or right, but, does it LOOK better? Hell! yes! In my opinion and the item in question doesn't really have a function in the first place.

Plus, it's only the inner grille, the weight saved would be the equivalent of me taking a light dump and sneezing before I got in the car!

If it was my bonnet, then fair enough, but it aint, it's perhaps a hundred grammes of plastic, on a diesel tin top.

Anyway, it goes with the viper stripes and the "on a mission" sticker
