If it makes you feel any better, I did a couple of hours of wiring last night:

Wiring
Wiring

Welding will continue once the wiring is largely finished and I've plucked up the courage to cut a hole in my bodywork to make room for the silencer!

A hole similar to this?

Mark 100 times and remeasure another 100 before getting the cutting disk out.....

A hole exactly like that! But with one catch.... no power tools! I don't have a garage so I rent one off the council, hence no light/electricity/teaandcoffeemakingfacilities. It's hand tools only unfortunately! Any tips for how to finish the cut edge out of interest?

This is turning into a build thread!

I just sanded the cut edge with sandpaper on a block of wood to get it something like level, then touched up the white of the cut fiberglass with red touch up paint. I was going to put edge trim on but that would have taken ages and looked a bit silly.

I then sprayed everything underneath that could be see black so it looked neater.
