half hood
Hi,
I'm looking for a half hood for my avon.
I don't know if this is possible, so any advice or an address where I could buy such a roof is welcome.

I've sent them several mails but didn't get an answer?

I rang them a while back and they were very helpful.
Like you say could be because your from another country.
I would sugest ringing them if you can.
If you know anyone who is able to use a sewing machine it looks easy enough to make 1

Soft bits for 7's just made a half hood for my stylus, very good quality but they are busy, i would suggest ringing, i think they probably get
too many emails. They will need the car.

Alternatively it's not that difficult....
Just takes time and determination...
A Singer sewing machine makes quick work of even thick material and if you go hand-cranked you can go as slowly as you want for precision seams....
Might not float everyone's boat but I found DIYing my hood quite satisfying....

Call SoftBits they are normally very helpful, are there any marquee or ships chandlers near you ? They will make up canvas parts. Had mine made at a
ships chandlers and it was very good and cheap too. Barry
