gearing (diff)

ive been out tonight for a long drive and at 65 mph my little zx12 is pulling 6500 rpm
is this a little high?
or is it just me being new to bike engines??

also can i once again say

yup thats about right. mine is 6k at 60mph.

My Blade is running on same revs.

im running 3.62 lsd 70 nearly 8000 got 3.38 to fit which should drop it down to 7000.





bec is best but going to try sabb 2.3 turbo mk

Not sure. Most people get closer to single figures. You may not be trying hard enough

Our ZX12R returns a consistent 18mpg and as much as 24mpg on a long run.

On track days, it drinks fuel like it's going out of fashion and it would be pointless working out the mpg.

Have you had your PC mapped on a rolling road?

not had it mapped yet as im building an XE powered 7 so all the spare money is being thrown at that
i can live with it overfueling for a while at least its better than running lean!!
