Constructive Sundays
Today I:
Got my hands on a halfrauds trade card. 
Washed and cleaned the 205
Dropped the oil and replaced the filter on the 205 (fixed the surge issue, possibly incorrect oil viscosity in there when i bought it?)
Looked into replacing the horn (possibly a stebel nautilus..) because its making a squelching noise 
Looked into finding an old XU9JA engine (possibly after an MI16 conversion) to rebuild to swap for my current engine
And I'm currently learning organic chemistry.
All fine and dandy, but still stuck on the Dax waiting for parts unfortunately!
What have you guys got done on the cars this weekend?

Sierra hubs rebuilt.
Front bouncy bits rebuilt on the MK.
Steering bits taken apart for cleaning/fresh paint.
Front wing stays fitted and bent.
Not the best weekend ever, been sleeping and drinking a little too much, but it'll do

re fitted seats,
fitted harnesses,
fitted fly screen
fitted mirrors,
tweaked carbs,
wired kliktronic back to steering wheel!
a good day.and liverpool won again

This weekend I've cleaned and then dropped off my engine block at a local engine shop for a glaze bust (and to remove siezed cylinder head bolt)
and I've just finished chopping my sump and cutting new sections ready for welding

Planted 73 plants on Saturday. Today I discovered my major f-up from a month ago with trailing arms and de-dion wasn't an issue at all.... it
was due to the bushes being too big in the shock. I'm down to a mill or two clearance and the oversized bush made it too much. Or at least thats
what i'm hoping when i go back into the garage and compare the wooden shocks i've made to the avo's.

It was a friends ,sons 12th birthday and he's mad about cars so I surprised him (his parents knew) and took him for an hours fun in the 7,
recorded to whole thing and am now putting it on dvd for him to keep.
Took daughter horse riding so I spent an hour running with a bloody horse.
Came and finished the bathroom I got tricked into decorating for the last two weekends.
Did a bit more work on my luggage rack on the 7
Busy eh?

i was trying to design and make an engine stand out of a pallet i got hold of, but ended up cleaning the sump of the pinto and took on a job that has
taken me all day the insode was easy, just drain the oil (there was hardly any crap in there at all) but the outer casing is caked in rust and shi*e,
the old gasket was stuck on rock solid as well! its currently covered in paint stripper, hence a well deserved break!

Cut out a couple of CF backplates, set myself up with an electrolisys bath, took the angle grinder to a freelander diff, primed and painted it. Oh and
said hello to the wife

Collected my new donor yesterday, spent all last night trying to charge the flat battery and today spent this afternoon cutting the grass then
starting to dismantle the donor.
Currently drinking a few beers and thinking of what to save and what to sell on from the stripdown.

yesterday I had to work in the morning  , didt the weekly shop then poured the main bit of my 'new' garage floor - started
mixing at 14:00 didn't get finished till 22:00
so today I had a nice long sleep then went for a dirve in the hills for an hour or two (15mins away from the house) - just the tin-top but still fun
in the 14 deg sunshine up here

yesterday spent building a whepling box onto a pallet to cater for pups due next week.
Today - small blattet over to a friends house and back. Smiles all the way!

Nothing! I find it extremely difficult when MotoGP, Superbikes and BTCC are all on tv!! Just going out to put a rivet in a stone guard then at least I
will have done something!

Up at 7.15 (am), in the pool 1/2 hour later. Out and (aching) after 50mins (and 2500m.
Get home, feed sprogs/self then into garage. Plumbed in engine - took about three hours spread over the course of the day as I needed to go to B&Q
to get some tube, then to work to weld a water pipe up (for car!).
Put exhaust back together and ran engine for about 10 mins
Just need to get fan wired (which I'll do tonight), then it's onto bodywork (finish bonnet)/rollbar and replace the sidepanels and boot
with new ally, then MOT/tax ......................

Pulled out thumb, commenced work on turbo manifold, twoipipes in, two to go.
Hoping to increase power, 130bhp top 180bhp and reduce noise!
Finished widebone front conversion last weekend
Divorce pending !

Fixed and calibrated fuel sender - involved filling and draining the tank 4 times
Finally configured my digidash for the new tyres, saved my pc3 map while I had the laptop out
tried out my new rivnut tool - nice 
trial fitted the skid plate/wooden floor to protect my sump - not happy with it
