don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I saw that car a few years back in a magazine (obviously a concept then). I quite like it but wouldnt buy one myself.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I love the old Trabi.
Looks like a lot of possibilities for building them up.
Like this one "Mit Honda power"

How about putting something like an RG or RD 500 engine in instead to keep the authentic two-stroke sound. Then even if it's not as fast as a
fireblade engine no-one will overtake cos they won't see you through the cloud of smoke you're putting out.

I still have an original Trabant parked up in the garage... British Racing green, too...
I got it for free when I was in secondary school and it still runs... has an aftermarket and really loud front silencer as well!
