I made it!! Despite roof coming off!!

Went from Malton to York and back again tonight in the kit car as it was the only car i had available! Interestingly the roof flew off along the A64, had to pull over and put it back on, luckily nothing broke and it was still attached at the rear, only the front part came off the windscreen! I think the fabric just got very tight and the big gust of wind didn't help! A pretty exciting trip especially on the final country road was literally like ice!

Phew! But also, everyone be really careful out there, i know the country grinds to halt and we all get annoyed by it but we don't want any injuries being reported on here!!

i did drive very slowly! It took me a long time it took about 15 seconds to pull out at one junction due to the wheel spin. It really is back to basics driving in these cars with no electronic this or power assist that!

There was a fair amount here today, I was getting it of the Jag to stop kids scratching it and the whole time thinking how fun it would be to go for a blast in it.

Snows easier to drive on than heavy rain.
