anyone changed a starter motor on a grand cherokee?
Hi all, my dads got a 96 grand cherokee, straight 6, and the starter has gone, if someone could give me an idea of the scale of the job to change one
that would be great.
cheers

Had one a few years ago and the starter went. Seem to remember it was a very easy job 2 wires and 2 bolts holding the starter motor. Access is very
good from under the vehicle. 10 minute job.

Just sold mine, takes about 15mins, 2 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 wires, dead easy. Or you could get FFTS's girlfriend to do it, see previous posts.
