Rover 416sli
A relative of mine has been offered £400 px for his old M reg 50000 mile Rover.
Question for one and all..... is it worth getting hold of it and stripping the main bits out and selling them somewhere. I was thinking the engine and
box could be used in a locost and sell the rest on the bay
Any thoughts or ideas

He should chop it in for £2,000 scrapage.
A 216Sli M reg has a Honda engine nbg for a locost.
The parts also have little value only part that might fetch a few quid is the distributer which is just about the only thing that ever goes wrong
with these.
On the other hand it would make a very reliable and cheap car for somebody.

No £400 sounds a fantastic deal on an m reg car.
The need for m reg parts will be small imho

Scrapage has distorted market prices at the bottom end.
