Renault megane
Hi all a mate has a Megane and would like to now where the sensor is in the car, when you press the key remote
it does not work very well were ever he points at the car

Your best bet is to ask Renault but its more likely a signal problem than him not aiming right.

Maybe the key needs a new battery?
Mind you, my 306 remote is still good after more than 10 years.
Always thought they were non-directional?

Usually if the signal is weak because of low batteries it is best to be in front of the car and hold the remote at shoulder height even better hold
it in front of your head :-)
