Bang wrong It's harder to grab hold of, it looks wrong. Someone on that older thread mentioned it looking neater but the inner side of the
paper is exposed, it's like someone wearing a jumper inside out, it couldn't look more wrong

There's a special clinic to treat people who care about this question. The walls are padded and the jackets have very long sleeves.

There is a way to get away using only one square of toilet paper, that frugal Locosters might appreciate:
1. Tear off a small triangle from a corner of the square and put it aside.
2. Wrap the remainder of the sheet around finger and proceed to wipe.
3. Oh, you want to know what that little piece was for?? That's for cleaning your fingernail!

Didn't Jon Ison ask this very question in the dim and distant past ?. The pretty side should face outwards so always buy patterned or quilted
tissue to help the poor deluded souls who think otherwise.
I've just noticed, your vote has been recorded and you are now being forwarded back to the thread, how does that work ?
It doesn't do it when you edit though

Who cares about the loo roll?
Of course making sure the knives, forks and spoons are all in the correct slots is essential

Against the wall.
That way yo can pull all you want, press the roll against the wall and it will tear nicely...
Beware of what you wish.. for it may come true....

We buy perforated paper, no problems tearing off a sheet.
Using the wall as a friction brake will inevitably mean re-decorating more frequently due to wall wear.
