Pray for good weather...

My Vectra CDTi 150 SRI went into the garage to get the thermostat replaced (under warranty) as it wasn't getting over 75 degrees and the cabin was always cold. Also mentioned a clutch rattle to them which turns out to be the dual mass flywheel which will get replaced under warranty as well. Adding to that, I felt a bit of a bang as I pulled into the garage - the front coil spring snapped. Warranty to the rescue again! Phew...

This means I'll be without a tintop for a few days so I'll just have to go to work in the Mojo - what a shame...

Pray for fair weather!

Off to finish the roof now...

I'm liking warranties on tin tops

Even thinking about extending it on my alfa - 2.5 years old and its had about £700 worth of parts fitted under warranty in the last few months

"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

If the car is under warranty, I'd want a courtesy car.

Courtesy car wasn't available at the time and I didn't worry too much as I've got the Mojo.
Arrived at work earlier than normal this morning - cold, but with a huge grin.

I have a big coat, thin jacket, cheap fingerless gloves, larger motorbike gloves, a balaclava type thing that covers my chest too and waterproof padded trousers. I'm warmer going to work on the scooter than I am in the car

Wrap up in something windproof and it'll make all the difference
