2.9 cossie

Having a nose around the scrapie today and he had a frog eye scorpio in with the 2.9 cosworth engine with an electrical fault.

Some one tell me how crap they are before I go spend a day in there and loose £150

200 BHP which is good - very very heavy which is baaad

fun to put one in a transit though

Turbo Technics did a kit for them....Twin Turbo if I remember correctly.

if its not done to many miles, it could be ok, but would have to be run on an after market ecu unless you get key and all associated wiring, electrical problem is normally the wiring loom falling apart, cam chains do snap from time to time, the older engines are getting hard to find so this is the next best thing,

and yes they are fun in a transit, i've built 4 cosworth 24v transits in the past, up set many a hot hatch a faster cars!!!!!
