A3 Boot internal panel

Can anyone tell how to get the plastic interior
panel off the boot of a 2006 A3.

There are 2 very obvious torx screws to remove
but after that it must be clipped in
with "fir tree" or barb type spigots
but I cannot see how to get at them .

PS it the wifes car and if break, score or
so much as smudge it - guts for garters.

Cheers in advance

fail safe way to keep in good health - take it to an Audi dealer.

Any other method carries personal risk for you

If you are at risk of having your gonads removed.... Suggest she removes the panel herself!

If you take it to the Audi dealer won't they rather screw you?

Held with plastic clips. Give it a good yank or get a screw driver under the edge and lever it. Needs more force than you'd expect or like to apply.

My thoughts exactly.
Give it a good pull and wait for the shower of plastic bits snapping off.

If you are wondering....

Rear wash wipe must have frozen solid during the cold snap and now the nozzles wont work.

It started to pump the water into the boot lid void and triggered the car alarm.

Cheers

Actually now I think about it I think they're metal clips on Audi+VW so won't break.
