Garage prep for chassis arriving.....
Been struggling to get everything done. Baby due in 7 weeks and busy with work/decorating.
My chassis arrives on Wednesday I've been busy trying to get things ready so far i've...
Re-arranged the garage for the most space possible.
Sold all bits I don't need.
Re-painted the garage floor(and half my clothes).
Sorted all the lighting out.
Stripped my donor and made all the parts tidy, sold/scrapped the bits of the car I didn't need.
What else would it be a good idea to do? How have people supported their chassis? I've some axle stands but I guess they might be a little
low?
Does anyone know how to make days 48 hours long so its possible to get everything done!?

1- Couple of cheap tressles from Screwfix etc.
2- Invent a Time Machine.

go to b&q and buy the cheapest work mates you can - they have should have some really cheap saw horse style ones.
Then make sure you've got a way to get the car off the saw horse and onto the ground.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Get some large cloths to cover up the chassis as you won't be doing any work on it for a while.

Spend some time With your lad ybe attentive to her needs as time put in now could pay dividends later when the baby arrives however it might be a bit
late in your case.

I have been, that's why its taking me ages to get things done! I've been stripping the donor/sorting the garage when she has 'cat
naps'.... happens quite often at the minute

Borrow some empty milk crates from your local milkman. They're strong and ideal for supporting the chassis as your build progresses. You can
alter the height depending on the jobs you're doing at the time and when you've finished with em, just give them back.

Good idea from Phil. Franky if you pop down Boultham Park Road there is the now empty dairy with pallets of milk crates out in the yard
Imagine what it would be like if there were no hypothetical situations.

He used to come round all the time 9 months ago..... a dozen crates is the least he can do!!
