A big Thank You to James and Adrian (Cloudy & Adithorpe)
Thanks to James for guiding me with my front sprocket choice and Adrian for sharing his R1 PC map.
I took the MotaLeira out today for a blat in the sun and it was brilliant.
The sprocket change means I can pull away with less revs than before and the car is more responsive on the throttle. I did a nice power slide as I
came out of the petrol station that was totally controlable and felt safe.
The new map from Adrian also means smoother power progression without the flat spots I got before.
Thanks Guys
Martin

It was only a adjustment on the slave cylinder. It has been perfect since the show!

Have you got an AFR meter on it? It might be worth just checking to be sure it's not too weak anywhere, just to be on the safe side.
It took a whole day on the RR before Wayne was happy with the map at all loads. We had to keep stopping to let the RR cool down. Even then he
wasn't completely happy not to be able to play with the ignition timing. He reconed he could get a lot more out of it if he could.

Adrian, I have an innovate guage on my dash and the figures are around 13.5- 16 when changing gear but steady around 14 while cruising.
I'm going to change the air filter to a K & N soon and then get it on a rolling road.
Your map is a lot smoother than my original one.

It's good to know it's not far out with the OE air-box as that would seem to indicate that my homemade one isn't too different.
We set it up to run lean-ish (14.7/1)at light throttle. Smooth at mid throttle and then the best we could get at full throttle; 13.5-14 is "nice
and crisp" as Wayne put it. The power curve was virtually liniar from 3000-11000rpm then almost flat (@170bhp)all the way to 13500
