Applying for a V5 Tin Top
I've just bought a cheap car and it comes minus V5, can anyone tell me how to go about applying to DVLA to get one, I know it costs a few quid
but not sure how to go about it

bit of a risk buying a car minus the V5
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Don't panic it was hardly a big money gamble, if I fill in a V62 can I then tax said car at the same time ??

Think it has to be at a local DVLA office you will also need a V10 form filled in and the original insurance certificate along with MOT. They
don't have access to the online database.

You wont be able to tax it until the v5 is in your name i dont think. Went through this myself last year.
V62 and 25 quid. If you take it to a dvla office they MAY let you tax it.
