Still, at least it aint one of those metro based 'replicas'.

Seems fair money to me for what he's offering.
Doubt it would be much to drive but I've heard of MG based ones with back seats and a rear hatch which make for a very usable car.

This is a proper space-frame chassis based car, the only donor bits being the cosworth engine, should be a good for a reliable 300bhp. The original
cars engines were 1800 cosworth bd's and 250bhp with the evolution car going upto 600bhp!. I remember ford selling them off in the 80's
at £55k plus a spares package. The prettiest of the group B super rally cars? I think so.

Considering your circle of friends, is that also you GT40 in your avatar? If so do you have any more pictures?

No my avatar is a Dulon LD6 designed by my father, it looks a bit like a kind of mini GT40 from around the same era and with its 1600 Lutus twin cam
is faster than GT40's/Chevron B8's round Spa....Unfortunatly they only ever made one and I'm not rich enough to afford it

LOL - your mate's RS200 might break down less if he could live with only, say, 5-600 bhp - like those rally drivers had to make do with!

I love his custom pin drive wheels off a BTCC car
Also notice in the background of the first pic an original ex BTCC RS500 Sierra he runs as an arrive and drive

That's a very pretty car, looks very much like a GT40 from the side/top, but completely different from the front.
