I tried building a Veyron with a 7 speed sequential gearbox with reverse and working brakes, steering, spoiler.......

But I ran out of 'two-ers' and the little flat bits with the rotating top. And I can never find 4 matching wheels, just 3 good ones and then one little one. So I gave up. Built a house instead.

Bloody good effort though.

Very very indeed.

The gearbox is a masterpiece!

I'm a big fan of Lego and have recently been rediscovering it with my 4 yr old who's just moving from medium to small Lego.

That is utter madness, in a very good way.

I used to make all sorts, made a crawler that would get up a pair of plastic trays that where set at 45deg once. Up the incline, over the crest without grounding, and back down. I remember being well chufted with that at the age of about eight.

Then all this bar-code reading, computer controlled, customised bricks for just about every part shite came out an I left it in favor of rc cars.
