Pre IVA Testing
Hi
Does any one know of a place where I can test my car proir to the IVA inspection.
Needs to be in the South Cumbria/ North Lancs area.
I have tried Cark airfield but no cars allowed.
Cheers

You could trailer it to an empty car park (perhaps staff carpark during weekend). As this is not a public road this is not a road traffic offence.
It might be trespass, but the laws of common sense should apply.
Obviously I would have never done this!

Obviously, I didn't do quite a lot of runs up and down my parents cul-de-sac.
And I certainly didn't take it out for a few miles at 2am around some quiet residential roads around me the night before the SVA.
Obviously!

I am not sure about staff car parks, but normal road rules do apply to places like supermarket car parks where the public has access, even if they are
private property. I suspect that if the car park is open and could be entered by the general public, there will be an assumption that usual
rules are in force.
