OT kangoo problem
This one has got me pretty much stumped.
My grandad has a mobility converted Renault kangoo 1.6 automatic. Occasionally when applying the brakes the engine will rev up and being an auto, the
car will try to accelerate for a split second. He took it into Renault who told him it was the exhauster? (something i have never heard of).
Does anyone know what this 'exhauster' and whether it could be causing this problem?

My mum had a Citroen berlingo which is pretty much the same car and she had a simular problem but hers, turned out to be the exhaust recircualtion
valve, I dont know anymore than that other than it was repaired under warranty and they didnt seem suprised that it had gone so I would assume that
its a common problem, Sorry I cant help
any further than that.
P.S. It was a 1.9 non turbo diesel if thats any help.

could it be linked to the servo as these are generally tapped into the inlet manifold a failed seal would allow more air into the inlet tract on

My first thought was split servo diaphram, causing an air leak.
