Does this smell bad or am I paranoid
Right selling a car on the net, following email turns up

Thanks for the swift response
I am perfectly okay with it due to your description, I'm using this opportunity to announce to you that i am just an agent in this sale.
I have contacted my client who is interested in buying and he has responded very positively and i have given him my own price for selling to Him.
He will be paying you with a certified bank cheque that will be credited into your account in 2-3 working days.
He will be sending you a cheque that will be more than your asking price,i mean your selling price to me.
Any amount above your asking price will be for the shipping cost and my own gain/commission as an agent in this sale and will be sent back to me
As regards the pick up,as soon as you confirm to me that the cheque is cleared in your account,you will deduct your asking price which is your money
and send the rest money back to me and i will inform my shipper to come to your location for the pick! up immediately.
If you are okay with this conditions i want you to fill in the following information of sending you the cheque.

I am 100% assuring you that everything will be okay with the cheque because i trust my client so much and i will ensure that you receive payment at

I also want you to know that any profit i make from this transaction is how use to earn a living.
Delete the advert from where you placed it on internet cause my client is ready to pay and consider it sold to my client.
I hope you are clear with all my explanations about the payment ???

I hate checks....
We don't they pay by bank?
I think in most cases you will recieve a check. You call bank, bank says everything is fine.
You deliver car. Five days late bank calls: "sorry the check isn't oke": Bye car, Bye money....
Hey, but i'm just old-fashioned so maybe some optimist can help you

checks are fine, as long as the person writing them doesnt accidentally write 100000 instead of 650, then ask for the money back

they forgot to mention you need to not mention the sale to anyone like they normally do.
one thing you need to know is that the cheque would cash but then bounce a month later.
if only you knew a smack head with a back account you can use for a while :O)
