Eeeek!!! I pressed the brake pedal ....
... and not enough happened!!
Have the stopping power of a dormouse or two.
Guess the seals in the master cylinder in the volvo 850 tinny top have gone 
(brake fluid level is not going down so has to be that).
Haynes mention early models need servo replacing, no bets as to which mine will turn out to be ......
Well, that's my weekend plans bolloxed.

A trip to Tesco to buy some food for starters, then on Sat a trup to the beach..
Now I know what you are thinking that you wish your life was a bottomless barrel chock full of endless excitement like mine but ......... 
So went next day with hooooooge rucksack and filled it with food.
A tip. If you are going to carry your shopiing home, then use basket(s) insrtead of a trolley as that will give an idea of how heavy the stuff is!
