Doo what!!! Since when has the number of exhausts had anything to do with how green a car is?

For once I felt sorry for Mr M. Having to deal with cretinous imbeciles of excuses for reporters. Good thing the reporter is in the buisness section

surely the "green" Ferrari will be for the US market?
If it has a Ferrari badge on it and it's expensive people will buy it..... if it's "green" Californians millionaires will buy
them by the crateload, and then idiots will buy them in sympathy.
there are of course some advantages with electric cars in terms of torque being available instantly. But it creates issues dynamically. Then again
"interesting" handling hasn't ever stopped some of the homegrown American cars from being successes so may be they're onto
something.

I can see what the journalist is getting at. In a sarcastic tone "nothing shouts low emissions vehicle than having lots of "pollution
pipes" at the back of your car".
If you think about it, there is no need for more than one tail pipe. People who want to see multiple pipes do so because it indicates a bigger
engine, more power and by necessity, more exhaust emissions to get rid of. I'm guessing that what the BBC chap is trying to point out is that
'You can't have it both ways'.

Just because it is green, doesn't mean it will be slow.
Also.. what is 'green'. What if they produce a high powered 1 litre turbo making 400hp. That would be 'green', but also
extremely light and very fast.
Nothing to worry about as far as I can see! They're always going to be fast

As Jay Leno says, there is nothing wrong with "green" cars for the daily trudge. Anything that prolongs finite fossil fuel resources for
weekend pleasure is all good

maybe by having 2 exhausts, they only have to measure the output out of one, thereby "halving" the emissions?
