Touring cars at Croft this weekend

Had a pleasant couple of hours wandering round Croft today, virtually no spectators, free admission, and seemingly free access all areas!
The tourers were not practising today, but I watched the Clios, Ginnettas, and Porsche cup cars on track. Managed to stand on the pit wall when the Porsches were out, they sound superb.

A few snaps.

BMW engine dripping in carbon, funny I always presumed they were six pots.

..and these two Porsches were being towed to the holding area by that little quad, BEC power!!

think the touring cars are limited to 2ltr engine, so that might be why its a 4 cylinder

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Yep, I'm a cheapskate too... may go on Saturday, then watch the tourers live on TV on Sunday.

The racing is just part of it for me, I prefer the pit lane and the support acts....

I have never seen the Porsche cup racing and I love them , likewise the Ginettas...

Touring cars are not really the top of my list.

Grandstand seating is free on the saturday, and Ive not done the viewing area beyond the startline/pit lane so will give that a go too.
