Hiccuping Leon
We have had a 2.0 TDI Leon from new on an 07 plate that seems to miss a beat or hiccup when you slightly lift off the accelerator when travelling
typically on a motorway. It doesn't happen often ( or didn't when it was new ) but I have just travelled 250 miles in it today and its
prob happened about a dozen times. When it first started happening we took it back to the dealer who, of course, found nothing wrong with it.
What happens is when you slightly lift and then go back on the gas there is a pause and then a bit of a jump as if its cutting out slightly.
Has anyone had this sort of thing before?
If you've never done anything wrong, you've never done anything

I had exactly the same thing with my '07 plate 2.0TDi Leon when i first got it.
Took it back to the dealer, who couldn't find anything. Even when I drove it with a mechanic in the car......
I put it down to either the EGR ingesting too much exhaust gas, starving the engine of O2 for a second, or something to do with the variable vane
turbo blades being caught out between off boost and on boost.
Let me know if you do find a "fix".

MAF, common fault on VAG motors. Try unpluging it and see if it runs any differently, if it does'nt then the maf is most likely kaput.

If it's doing it at about 1800 rpm the stutter is usually caused by the egr, vag rectified it by using a really small holed egr gasket nearly
blocking it. They couldn't fit it to new cars though, but made it available on the parts desks.
Only cost a quid or too and sorted mine out

EDIT: Sorry, just re-read, and you have the 2.0, don't think this^ applies to that
