wanted 200bhp engine

as post says i am lookin for a engine as close to 200bhp as a complete package.mating it to a type 9.going into a tiger cat.taking out a 1.8 pinto.budget of 1500.thnks.

Rover T16 210bhp here for £300. All wiring MEMS and ancilleries. Taken from Rover 820 Sport.

Located in DH5 near Durham.

STICK WITH THE PINTO!

i have a 2.1 pinto set up for sale calculated/ estimated 170bhp

drop in and go set up looking for £1000-1100

get a c20xe off ebay and the rest of the bits from yukspeed/bogg bros and youll see plenty of change from £1500

thanks for the offer on the pinto but i want something a bit lighter.would be ok with a vauxhall but i would prefer a complete unit.

bike power is a no no.weight of car doesnt suit unfortunately.duratec,redtop or zetec i think are my preferences in that order.

try dunnell for zetec 2.0? dont know if you'll get a duratec set up and ready to roll with 200bhp for anywhere near 1500...

CA18DET Turbo. JDM they are quite cheap, and you can easily get 200 out of it without any mods, other than the intake and exhaust, which you need to do anyways to fit to the 7.

nissan ca18det mates directly to its original box as well, nice and small.

300bhp with a few mods or 200 out of the box
