Any Ford dealer techies about. Galaxy 1.9PD probs

My 03 plate 1.9PD Tdi Galaxy has thrown a wobbler. Story goes like this.
Last night went to start it and it turned over normally but did not start. Tried a few times and it finaly went but seemed to have a slight missfire for a few seconds.
Went to it this morning it seemed a bit reluctant but it went.
Did about 15 miles at motorway speed with no problem.
Got to the end of the slip road and it cut out.
Managed to start it again after a few minutes. Continued for a few miles and it cut out again at a island, then again at some lights and then again as i got to work. Each time a pig to start.
I have got the VAG com stuff and will check the codes on Monday. Has anyone seen similar. I know the older Galaxys has relay probs that caused a similar fault.

Steve.

relay you refer to is relay 109 - think it's prob still the same, look at your fuse box, the replacement relay has from memory a grey (rather than black) casing and the '109' text is printed upside down....
