Brake Fluid!
What the blinkin flip do BMW add to their motorbikes brake-fluid that makes it stink so badly?
Had a rear caliper and m/c assembly delivered today and the sender thought it wise to leave the fluids in! Of course it spilled everywhere and I got
it on my hands and a splash on my trousers.
I know can't get the smell out of my bloomin nose and throat!

I didn't think the Germans were capable of making a bad-beer!
It's got that gearbox oil smell, but seems to be mixed with cats pee, cavemans sweat and di-eggymetholbeanoxide!
I was going to clean out the garage today, but I can't face going up there whilst that stink is lingering!

Lots of odours are gases/vapours that are water soluble. You could try the bucket of water in the corner of the shed trick, which should help
deodorise the space.
This is a general sort of statement, I guess there are exceptions.
I don't know what the thing in diff oil is that smells, and I don't know whether it is water soluble.
