Wall Racking/Hammer storage
Hey guys, I'm just finishing moving into my new garage and I'm trying to find a good way of storing my collection of hammers.
In the old garage we had this racking which consisted of a wire mesh which was screwed to the wall, and loads of hooks which fitted on it, with the
hooks being the perfect size to hold a hammer.
Managed to get some pics:
Has anyone got any ideas where I can find some? Other suggestions also welcome
Cheers,
Badger

Neat idea.
How many hammers do you have?

At a rough guess somewhere between 30 and 50, of varying sizes and uses

Nice
You can't have too many hammers and there's nothing worse than watching someone struggle or worse with the wrong hammer for the job.

Agree on the hammers I have about 25.
Its really satisfying to have a complete set of hammers and the correct punch/drift for every job

Whats wrong with 2 nails?
Width of the handle apart and either into a wooden batton or direct into the wall.

Just get a piece of mesh as in the picture.
If you look at the 'hooks', the have been made from a piece mesh that had slightly smaller spacing, or just cut up and bend some wire coat
hangers from the dry cleaners, into the hook shape. don't forget the little wings,
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
