Eeek - g/f said ok to put webers in dishwasher!
Ok, what did i do wrong? playing with the webers on the lounge floor tonight and g/f mentioned they're a bit dirty. I joked i should put them in
the dishwasher and she said ...
"ok, but make sure you put rinse it out afterwards".

Just to make sure, ask her if you could use the washing machine for it instead.
If she says yes, then be worried.

Girlfriends can do this when competing with the wife. It's just a cunning plan to get you to to ditch the latter and marry the former. Then they
revert to female type and you find you're married to essentially the same woman but with the disadvantage of also having to pay maintenance.
Don't be fooled.
Alternatively this will be a once and only event that you will never hear the end of, will be reminded of every time she puts a cup in the dishwasher
or empties the bl**dy thing, will loose you ten years worth of brownie points, buying a brand new replacement dishwasher will not clear the air and
she will behave like a wife from then on.
Don't do it.

I really don't believe some of your replies!
I am sooooo disappointed......
Of course components should be 'allowed' in the dishwasher ..... it shouldn't even be an issue.....

This is your g/f method of telling you that the dishwasher is broken. They can be clever like that.
Sorry for the bad news.

I'm not sure she'll be happy about you telling your mates about playing with her "twin webers".

We dont have a dishwasher, we have an Indesit 'parts washer'
However I do 'LET' the wife use that to wash the dishes in.

Maybe she's letting you do it knowing that you won't
