F1 Abu Dhabi, Lewis/Alonso battle ?
Who thinks Lewis might have a hand in the out come of the race if he is in front of Alonso, but has no chance of winning the title. Think and hope
this is a good end to the season.

He hasn't managed to hold Alonso behind him for very long at all in the last couple of races
I don't think he'll do anything 'silly'. Lewis is actually quite positive about Alonso in most of the recent interviews
he's done. I get the feeling Alonso doesn't like Lewis, but Lewis couldn't give a toss either way about Alonso.

Have to agree from other articles I've read that Alonso clearly still gets wound up by Lewis and Lewis just laughs at him! And that video
interview with Lewis in the middle of the track pre-Interlagos suggested something similar too.
There was an article in a Spanish newspaper a while ago where they asked each about the other and their relationship... Lewis was just 'yeah,
yeah all is fine', Aloser on the other hand was still spitting!
Personally I'd love to see Lewis in some way deliberately f'ck Alonso's race but as Martyn says, without a faster car there's
going to be limited opportunities for this. Lewis deserves a bit of payback for Alonso's behaviour in 2007 still IMO (I bet Craig will have
something to say here! ).
There was an interesting comment after the F1 (during The Forum maybe?) where they suggested that Christian Horner might have a word with his mate
Martin Whitmarsh to see if Mclaren would help them out. Whether this would happen or not I don't know but Alonso is not a popular man at Mclaren
(don't forget, they belive he cost them £50m quid, a constructors and a drivers title in 2007!)! More importantly, Mclaren would definitely
rather Red Bull won another title than Ferrari!

I think most of us would rather someone wins than Ferrari. I still think the FIA should have penalised Alonso for the Ferrari swaparoony stunt so
unless he wins by a massive points margin he's won by cheating. Still, he couldn't pull the "get your team-mate to drive into the
wall" trick again without arousing suspicion....
Ultimately Ferrari are cheats. Just look at the day they spent "filming an advert" in the middle of the season when they weren't
allowed to test. They got a 2010 spec car, put loads of upgrades on it then drove it round a track for hours and hours whilst filming an
"advert". Now most ads would presumably need lots of set-up shots, lots of stopping and starting. But no, this just needed someone to
drive round the track and do loads of laps at race speed whilst someone filmed it. An advert that has never been seen. Okay they had control tyres on
but it still gave them a load of information and suddenly the next race they were suddenly a lot faster. In my book that's blatant cheating. The
really dodge bit is that they invited loads of F1 pundits to watch the "advert being filmed", one assumes their relative silence was
bought with a rather nice hospitality suite next to the racetrack..... by the time they realised what was happening they'd been implicated in
it- IE better to keep quiet.

Well, I would tend to argue that Red Bull have done worse this year.
That flexible front wing of theirs was clearly dodgy as hell for 15 of 17 races! Just because it passed the load tests doesn't mean it adhered
to the 'flexible wings are not allowed' rule. And you'll notice the Red Bulls slowed down a lot when the increased load tests came
in.
Also, it was never clearly explained how their car ran the same ride height during quali and with full fuel load. It wasn't until Mclaren
declared they were bringing a suspension ratcheting device along to future races that suddenly that aspect of the Red Bull disappeared.
You'll notice that Mclaren's policy is usually to get somthing new checked in advance by FIA that it is allowed (the f'duct for
example was approved before the season started), then fit it to their car if it's ok. Newey works on fitting it first, racing it, then seeing if
it gets banned by the FIA afterwards.
Having said all that, Ferrari had a flexible front wing as well, it just wasn't quite a s flexible as Red Bull's!

LH is just starting to creep back up in my estimations.
However, if he does anything intentionally untoward to influence the outcome of the championship then he will sink straight back down... bet
he's terrified!
