Focus Central Locking

Can anyone tell my why my central locking won't open. (Focus 1.6 1999).

I've checked the fuse 63 (back of the fuse box) which is a known issue but it seems OK (replaced it anyway).

It locks all the doors, just won't open them.

My guess is the motor which I think is in the drivers door.

Any advice much appreciated.

My Focus used to lock and then self unlock due to a frozen mechanism on one of the doors, bit of a known issue, fine when temp goes up. Is there any attempt to unlock? Can you unlock using the button in the car?

Bit the same really. As it warms up it gets better.

My hunch is the tailgate latch.

Might pull it apart at the weekend.

Thanks anyway.
