DRLs E Marking
Anybody know what is the required E marking for DRLs ? --- some ads state the lights are marked E1 others E4

All i can find is that equipment must be E Marked.

The E number refers to the country who issued the approval. E1 is Germany, E2 - France, E11 - UK, etc.
A DRL Should have the letters "RL" marked on the lamp near the E mark and approval number. In a similar way a Stop lamp would have an
"S", a fog lamp "F", a front position lamp "A", etc, etc.
